Temporary Storage Service starts at Tokyo Central Post Office

One of our ticket pick up places, Tokyo Central Post Office has started a new temporary storage service for travelers from today, Feb 21 2018.

The service is operated with a sharing baggage storage service called Ecbo Cloak who have launched their first service in January 2017.
They have bridged people who are in need of somewhere to place their luggage and the venues which have the space to give them a hand.
It has given over a hundred cafes and shops across Japan, and now they have reached out the storage place to a several major post offices including Tokyo Central Post Office.

It may be a good idea to have your luggage kept at Tokyo Central Post Office in the morning, spend some time to explore Tokyo station (Marunouchi) area, and collect your reserved Shinkansen tickets from us along with your luggage at Tokyo Central Post Office before starting on your Shinkansen journey to other areas.

Green Seat

Better seats with more space than ordinary seats. All Green Seats are reserved only. Consider it as "business class" seats.

Reserved Seat (Ordinary Reserved Seat)

Your seat is reserved and secured when you book your tickets. Head to the station with a peace of mind.
Seats are the same as Ordinary Seat.

Green Reserved Seat

Better seats and free blankets. Popular among Japanese business persons, executives and people who values comfortable travel. Consider it as "business class" seats.

GranClass Seat

Know as "First Class" of Shinkansen seats. Only available on Hokuriku and Tohoku Shinkansen lines. Gran Class seats comes with airline-like amenities and meals.The most expensive of all.

Unreserved Seat

You can take any open seats in unreserved cars of any train on the departure date. (No departure time will be indicated on your tickets.)
The best seat type if your priority is the cost and are traveling during less-crowded season/time.
