2. Check out and pay

We accept secure payment by credit cards. Please be assured that we do NOT keep your credit card details. Your credit card information in detail will only be used by our trusted card processing company.

3. Review an automated confirmation email from us

Please make sure your order details are correct. If not, contact us immediately. 

4. Our agents confirm seat availability and notify you with final confirmation

From this point on, a cancellation fee may apply if your departure date is within a month.

In case your seats are not available at the requested departure date/time, we will contact you for rescheduling or give you a full refund.

Out agents purchase your tickets. Please note that Shinkansen tickets can only be purchased one month prior to departure (it is a regulation by Japan Railway). We will purchase your tickets as soon as we can. 

In case your seats are not available at the requested departure date/time, we will contact you for rescheduling or give you a full refund.

5. Your tickets are shipped out via Express Mail service.

Your valuable tickets will be shipped out via express mail service by Japan Postal Service. The tracking number will be provided in the shipping confirmation email.

It usually takes about 1 to 2 days for delivery within Japan.
If you choose international shipping with an additional fee, it usually takes 3 days to 10 days to be delivered to countries outside Japan (varies by country and region).

6. Receive your tickets at any location

Your tickets will be delivered via one of the shipping options below (you will be asked to choose your shipping option upon booking in step 1 above):

Your Hotel in Japan: Please provide us with the hotel name, the full name of the reservation, and your check-in date for delivery upon placing an order, if asked. We will ship your tickets a week prior to your checking in or a week before your traveling date. Please collect your tickets at the reception upon arrival at the hotel.

Your home country address (additional fee required):  You can choose to have your tickets to be delivered to your home address in your country if you have enough time in advance.
It usually takes 3 days to 2 weeks to be delivered to countries outside Japan (varies by country and region).

Post Office in Japan: As many customers begin their Shinkansen journey from Tokyo / Kyoto / Shin-Osaka station, we have prepared options for receiving tickets at post offices located next to these major stations.

*You will be asked to present your ID in order to collect your tickets. 

Seat guide

Shinkansen seats are available in four levels depending on the comfort and services your require.

Ordinary Seat

Regular seats used on Reserved cars and Unreserved cars of Shinkansen. Consider it as "economy class" seat.

Green Seat

Better seats with more space than ordinary seats. All Green Seats are reserved only. Consider it as "business class" seats.

Reserved Seat (Ordinary Reserved Seat)

Your seat is reserved and secured when you book your tickets. Head to the station with a peace of mind.
Seats are the same as Ordinary Seat.

Green Reserved Seat

Better seats and free blankets. Popular among Japanese business persons, executives and people who values comfortable travel. Consider it as "business class" seats.

GranClass Seat

Know as "First Class" of Shinkansen seats. Only available on Hokuriku and Tohoku Shinkansen lines. Gran Class seats comes with airline-like amenities and meals.The most expensive of all.

Unreserved Seat

You can take any open seats in unreserved cars of any train on the departure date. (No departure time will be indicated on your tickets.)
The best seat type if your priority is the cost and are traveling during less-crowded season/time.
