From purchase to delivery (Our service process)

1. Select your Shinkansen tickets

Choose your Bullet Train tickets from our Collection page.

Please note that our item price includes the fulfillment fee, in addition to the ticket price itself.

2. Check out and pay

We accept secure payment by credit cards. Please be assured that we do NOT keep your credit card details. Your credit card information in detail will only be used by our trusted card processing company.

3. Review an automated confirmation email from us

Please make sure your order details are correct. If not, contact us immediately. 

4. Our agents confirm seat availability and notify you with final confirmation

From this point on, a cancellation fee may apply if your departure date is within a month.

In case your seats are not available at the requested departure date/time, we will contact you for rescheduling or give you a full refund.

Our agents purchase your tickets. Please note that Shinkansen tickets can only be purchased one month prior to departure (it is a regulation by Japan Railway). We will purchase your tickets as soon as we can. 

In case your seats are not available at the requested departure date/time, we will contact you for rescheduling or give you a full refund.

   Receive a QR voucher/Ticket (QR voucher/ticket only)

For customers who purchased a QR voucher/ticket type product, a QR code will be sent once your seat reservation is complete. This completes your order.
Please keep the QR code safe until the travel date.
QR Voucher: Use the QR code at the ticket machine in the station to print your paper ticket before boarding.
QR Ticket: Scan the issued QR code directly at the automatic ticket gate. There is no need to issue a paper ticket in advance.

5. Tickets are shipped out via Express Mail service (Paper tickets only)

Your valuable tickets will be shipped out via express mail service by Japan Postal Service. The tracking number will be provided in the shipping confirmation email.

It usually takes about 1 to 2 days for delivery within Japan.
For those who choose international shipping with an additional feethe estimated delivery days to countries via EMS can be found in Japan Post Official Page or Contact Points for International Shipping.

For countries served by FedEx, delivery will be within 5 days of shipment.

6. Receive your tickets at any location (Paper tickets only)

Your tickets will be delivered via one of the shipping options below (you will be asked to choose your shipping option upon booking in step 1 above):

Your Hotel in Japan: Your tickets will be shipped to the hotel a week prior to your checking in or a week before your traveling date. Please collect your tickets at the reception upon arrival at the hotel.

Your home country address (additional fee required):  You can choose to have your tickets to be delivered to your home address in your country. 
Depending on the country, shipping will be via EMS or FedEx.
Please visit here for the list of the average time required for international delivery to major countries provided by Japan Post (EMS).
For countries served by FedEx, delivery is usually completed within 5 days of shipment.

Post Office in Japan: As many customers begin their Shinkansen journey from Tokyo or Kyoto Station, we have prepared options for receiving tickets at post offices located next to these major stations.
