Due to the deadly Typhoon Jebi struck Kansai area on Sep 4, runways and buildings in Kansai International Airport were severely hit by surging water and it's operations are yet to be fully recovered.
Meanwhile, the only bridge connects the airport and the mainland was crushed by a huge tanker. This is still causing the operation of the Airport Express (Haruka Express train) to be suspended.
Since we have received many inquiries from our customers regarding the latest status of Kansai International Airport and train operation in Osaka area since then, we have opened this page to let everybody know the information we have gathered up. This page will be keep updated as we catch any new information.

The operation has been partially resumed (between Kyoto (or Osaka) and Hineno Station) from Sep 8 morning, but it is NOT reaching Kansai International Airport.
If you are using the Limited Express "Haruka," please transfer to "Kanku Express" at Hineno Station and go to Rinku-town Station. There will be a shuttle bus service from Rinku-town Station to Kansai-airport.
Or, the limousine bus service from Osaka city area has been partially resumed. Please find details from the link below.
