By scanning the issued QR code directly at the automatic ticket gate, you can board the Shinkansen.
There is no need to issue a paper ticket in advance.
Please scan the QR code directly at the automatic ticket gates that support QR tickets.
These gates can be identified by the orange QR code mark, as shown in the photo below.
These gates are equipped with QR code scanners, so please scan your QR code there to enter.
When you scan the QR code, a paper ticket with your seat number will be issued. Be sure to pick it up.
The QR code will also be required when exiting through the ticket gates at your destination station.
If you have any questions, please ask the station staff nearby.
Note: A QR code is issued for each seat.
Our order confirmation email will include QR codes for all passengers, so please forward the QR codes to your fellow travelers or print them out as needed.
