If you have purchased a QR Voucher, you will need to use it to issue a paper ticket at a ticket machine in the station.
The process is simple and takes about three minutes to complete.
While you can print the ticket at your boarding station anytime before your travel date, be aware that the station and ticket machines may be crowded.
If you plan to issue your ticket on the day of travel, please make sure to allow extra time at the station.
Please find the ticket machine, as shown in the image, at JR stations.
Select your preferred language using the button at the top of the screen.
(Note: The printed tickets will only display information in Japanese and English.)
Click the "Read QR code" button at the bottom right of the screen.
Hold the QR code over the camera reader located at the bottom right.
If the QR code isn't scanning properly, please select "Receive using a pickup code."
When using a pickup code, input the pickup code (up to 17 digits) and then press the "Confirm" button.
If you have any questions, please ask the station staff nearby.
Note: A QR code is issued for the whole group (up to 6 passengers per QR code)
Please refer to the following page for how to read tickets printed in English.
