Starting from March 2018, free Wi-Fi will be introduced at all 17 Tokaido Shinkansen stations (listed below), including major stations such as Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto and Shin-Osaka.

Also, JR Central has recently announced that free Wi-Fi will be available on board all "N700A" series Tokaido Shinkansen trains and the Limited Express Train "Wideview Hida" from summer 2018.
