Tomamu, operated by Hoshino Resorts, is one of the few Hokkaido resorts with its own dedicated JR station, cutting out the usual long bus transfer. By night, the Tomamu ski resort's Ice Village — a small settlement built entirely from ice and snow — lights up beside the base area.

Two ways to reach Tomamu
Tomamu is one of the very few resorts with its own JR station — a free shuttle meets the trains. Come the scenic way overland from Tokyo, or fly into New Chitose and transfer by rail.
From Tokyo by train
