据JR公司称，预计检查工作需要一些时间，并表示今天上午无法恢复运营。事故原因是工程车辆漏油，目前正在进行检查。
因此，山形新干线福岛站至东京站之间的双向列车以及秋田新干线仙台站至东京站之间的双向列车运营也已暂停。
秋田新干线目前运营秋田站和仙台站之间的接驳服务。
