当您需要超大行李座位时
在东海道新干线（东京—品川—新横滨—名古屋—京都—新大阪）和山阳/九州新干线上，携带总尺寸超过 160 厘米但不超过 250 厘米的物品的乘客必须预订“超大行李空间座位”。
这些座位位于每辆车的最后一排：
预留普通车厢每车5个座位
绿色汽车每辆车4个座位
该系统的工作原理与国际航班托运行李的座位分配规则类似，尽管具体尺寸可能有所不同。
其他新干线线路和大多数特快列车在车厢内设有开放式行李存放区，因此无需特别预约。
2025 年新增：甲板区域行李架现已推出
截至2025年，新干线新增了一种出行选择：
✔ 甲板区域的行李架（4 层）对所有乘客开放。
位于车厢之间的通道（甲板）区域。
无需预约
只要有空间，您可以随时使用这些架子。
这意味着即使您无法预订超大行李座位，您仍然有其他可行的替代方案。
由于JR公司将甲板区域行李架作为一项试点措施推出，因此未来有可能不再提供这些行李架。
其他存储选项
除了超大的座椅储物空间和新的甲板搁架之外：
✔ 所有车厢的每个座位上方都设有置物架。
这些储物柜并不适合存放非常大的物品，但根据您物品的尺寸和重量，它们确实可以提供另一种存储选择。
