Após as interrupções causadas pelas fortes chuvas causadas pelo tufão nº 10 nos últimos dois dias, a JR Central anunciou que o Tokaido Shinkansen também será totalmente suspenso entre Mishima e Nagoya em 1º de setembro.
O trem Kodama será operado temporariamente entre as estações abaixo, com alguns trens por hora em cada direção:
1) Tóquio e Mishima
2) Nagoya e Shin-Osaka
O Sanyo Shinkansen funcionará, mas com serviços significativamente reduzidos.
