Japan Railway ha anunciado recientemente que empezará a ofrecer Wi-Fi gratuito en todas las líneas de Shinkansen durante el actual año fiscal, que termina en marzo.

El nuevo servicio estará disponible en todos los trenes siguientes, incluido el Tokaido Shinkansen que muchos extranjeros utilizan para viajar entre Tokio y Kioto / Shin-Osaka.
