JR 측에 따르면 점검에 시간이 걸릴 것으로 예상되며, 오늘 아침 운행 재개는 불가능할 것이라고 밝혔습니다. 사고 원인은 건설 차량의 기름 유출로 파악되었으며, 현재 점검이 진행 중입니다.
이에 따라 야마가타 신칸센의 후쿠시마역과 도쿄역 사이, 그리고 아키타 신칸센의 센다이역과 도쿄역 사이의 양방향 운행도 중단되었습니다.
아키타 신칸센은 아키타역과 센다이역 간 셔틀 서비스를 운행하고 있습니다.
