About the resort

Hokkaido's champagne powder

Niseko United is Hokkaido's flagship ski resort, linking four Niseko ski areas — Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu, Niseko Village, Niseko Annupuri, and Hanazono Niseko — around Mt. Niseko Annupuri on one shared lift pass. Cold air off the Sea of Japan delivers some of the lightest, driest snow anywhere, and decades of international visitors have built a genuinely global village at the base.

❄️ Champagne powder

Consistently light, dry snowfall has made Niseko a global benchmark for powder skiing.

🏔 Four resorts, one pass

Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu, Niseko Village, Niseko Annupuri, and Hanazono Niseko share lifts and a single ticket; independent Niseko Moiwa sits next door.

🌍 Truly international

Decades of overseas visitors have built an English-fluent village with global dining and nightlife.

🌙 Extensive night skiing

Niseko's night sessions are some of the best-lit and longest-running in Japan.

Niseko United FAQ

Should I come by train from Tokyo or fly to New Chitose?
Most international visitors fly into New Chitose Airport — the nearest airport to Niseko — and transfer by rail to Kutchan Station in about 2.5–3 hours. The overland train from Tokyo takes 7–8 hours but is a scenic option, especially if you're combining Niseko with other stops. We offer booked packages to Kutchan for both routes.
Do I need one pass for all four resorts?
A single Niseko United pass covers Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu, Niseko Village, Niseko Annupuri, and Hanazono — no need to buy separately. (Independent Niseko Moiwa requires its own ticket.)
Which station do I arrive at?
Kutchan Station, on the Hakodate Main Line, is the gateway for Niseko United. From there a short Niseko bus or resort shuttle runs to Hirafu and the other bases. There is no airport in Niseko itself; the nearest is New Chitose.
Is Niseko good for non-Japanese speakers?
Very — it's one of the most English-fluent ski destinations in Japan, from lift staff to restaurants.
Which base area should I choose?
Hirafu for nightlife and variety, Niseko Village or Annupuri for a quieter, more ski-in/ski-out stay.
How does the train package work?
Book online and receive a QR voucher by email. At the station, scan the voucher at a ticket machine to print your tickets, then ride. Seats are reserved, so you're guaranteed a place even on busy winter weekends.
