Malgré une forte demande de la part des visiteurs étrangers, seul un nombre limité de trains à grande vitesse dispose actuellement d'un accès à l'internet sans fil.
Le nouveau service sera disponible sur tous les trains suivants, y compris le Tokaido Shinkansen que de nombreux étrangers utilisent pour voyager entre Tokyo et Kyoto / Shin-Osaka.
