Le typhon n° 7, une tempête extrêmement puissante, devrait toucher terre au Japon continental le 16 août. En raison des vents forts attendus et des alertes de fortes pluies, il est prévu de suspendre les opérations de certains trains Shinkansen et Limited Express.
JR Central a déjà annoncé que toutes les opérations du Tokaido Shinkansen entre Tokyo et Nagoya seront annulées aujourd'hui.
En outre, seuls quelques trains spéciaux circuleront toutes les heures entre Nagoya et Shin-Osaka.
