Le typhon n° 7, une tempête extrêmement puissante, devrait toucher terre au Japon continental vers le 15 ou le 16 août, accompagné de vents violents et d'un risque de fortes pluies. En conséquence, les opérations du Tokaido Shinkansen et du Sanyo Shinkansen risquent d'être perturbées.
