What is Go To Travel Campaign?

We are currently closing our "Go To Travel" application form as the resumption of the campaign has been suspended due to a state of emergency issued by the Japanese Government.
We will reopen the form once the Go To Travel campaign is resumed or any updated schedule is confirmed.

To promote domestic travel and to help encourage local businesses in Japan, the Japanese government has launched the "Go To Travel Campaign" from July 2020.
The campaign provides subsidies of up to 50% on your costs for transportation, hotels and shopping on domestic travels.

Due to the increase of COVID cases in the metropolitan area, Tokyo had been excluded from the campaign, but the Japanese government has recently announced that the travel to/from Tokyo will be added to this campaign starting from October.
Tokyo residents, including non-Japanese residents, and those travelling to/from Tokyo, again, including those who are non-Japanese, will be eligible to receive the discounts starting from October 2020 (applies to a travel that starts from October 1st).

Since most of the information on the Go To Travel Campaign is in Japanese, many of the foreign residents in Japan may not be able to reach the information of this campaign. However, since you have reached our page here, you are now at the right place to start your trip using this campaign.

1) Total budget needs to be more than 70,000 JPY (at least 1 night)
2) The first departure date is after January 12th, 2021 (A trip with a departure date before January 11th cannot be arranged).

How can you use the "Go To Travel Campaign" through our service?

The Go To Travel Campaign discount will be applied to the plans that we arrange for you so you can save up to 50% of your travel fees.

The maximum amount of subsidy is 20,000 yen per night per person (can be used for transportation and accommodation) and 10,000 yen for a dairy trip.
35% of the total costs will be discounted*, and the remaining 15% will be issued as a “regional coupon”. 

There is no limit of number that you can use this program so can travel as many times as you wish until the program is over.

Example: Two-Night Trip for one person

Total Travel Cost: ¥60,000
(Hotel: ¥40,000 / Transportation: ¥10,000 / Handling Fee* (20%): ¥10,000)

Total Subsidy Amount: ¥20,000
(Discount (35%): ¥21,000 / Coupon (15%): ¥9,000)

Actual Payment =  ¥39,000 　（¥60,000 - ¥21,000)
(You will receive a digital ¥6,000 coupon separately)

*Please note that 20% of the travel price will be added as a handling charge.
